physical description:
Yami is 6 foot tall and is skinny, but muscular. He has red hair and brown orangeish eyes. His hair naturally spiky and he has hard time controlling it. Yami also is naturally tan which is odd considering he's half Irish and half Japanese. Also sometimes Yami wears reading glasses.

He likes to wear different types of shirts. For work he likes to wear plain color pollo shirts, red being his favorite one to wear. Outside of work Yami wears T-shirts. He wears very old T-shirts from Goodwill when he's working on a painting or some other type of messy art work. As for pants Yami likes to wear jeans and jeans shorts. As for shoes Yami prefers wearing flip flops, but he'll wear shoes if he has too.

Personality:
Yami is very out going person. He loves being around people and helping them with their problems. He's also very cheerful and likes to look at the bright side of things. Yami is also very competitive especially when it comes to playing video games or sports. He's a total goff ball and loves to play pranks on people. Yami is also a big sweetheart.

History:
Yami was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He comes from an interracial family. His father from Japan while his mother comes from Irish heritage (red heads). Yami went to Catholic schools all his life and his father wanted him to join the world politicians. Being from Japan his father could never run president, but he's a senator for Ohio. His father's dream his to have son become president. Yami had no desire to become president, but he told his dad he wouldn't mind being a lawyer seeing how they help people. His dad agree to it so Yami study hard throughout high school so he could get into the best law school in New York City. Throughout those years Yami would draw for stress relief from studying and leaving up to his dad's expectations. The more he draw more he fell in love with art. Yami's love for art created a rift between him and his father because Yami was considering doing something with art instead of becoming a lawyer. Yami still applied for law school at the end of his high school years. He got in, but dropped out after 2 weeks because one his professors told him his career should be his passion in life. So Yami joined a college in New York City and doubled major in art and teaching. He was able to get a teaching job there after graduation because the art department didn't want to lose such a great art student. Yami's dad and him have a very shaky relationship because of Yami's choice in a career.


Yami's mother and her family are from New York. Yami's mother met his father while he was studying law in New York. They get married in New York and moved back to Ohio where Yami's father's family moved to from Japan.

In Ashes of Phoenix Yami has been reborn into our world as a human. In reality he is a dog demon who is a king of the country he lives in. Since his up bringing was quite different Yami acts different.
