Yami stands at 6 foot and is muscular. He has orange red hair which is naturally spiky and he has hard time controlling it. Yami has huge orange eyes and sometimes he wears a pair of red reading glasses. He uses it to help get a closer look of his artwork. Yami's skin is naturally tan.
As for clothes Yami rarely dresses formally and he only does when he has to. He likes to keep it very casual by wearing a verity of T-shirts and jeans. He loves to wear hoodies and prefers to wear flipflops, but will wear shoes if he has to. For work his adviser Max allows him to wear jeans, but he makes sure he wears a nice pollo shirt and good shoes.

Yami's true form is well a dog! He has orange brownish coat and orange eyes. His body built is based on a English Springer Spaniel because they are sport dogs that have great agility and energy (I know this because I owned one when I was a kid. She would jump over our backyard fence!)

Yami is mixed between an introvert and an extrovert. The reason being is because Yami lacks confidence. When he's around people he's close to he is a very out going. He loves to go on crazy adventures and acts like a total goff ball. He loves to play pranks on people (as a kid and a young teenager). Yami enjoys teasing his best friends and will annoy the hell out of them to get them to agree to his crazy ideas. Yami is also very competitive especially when it comes to playing video games or sports. He is very smart and artistic. Yami loves art and is a great artist. He mostly draws and paints. Deep down inside Yami is a big sweetheart. Finally Yami can have a temper especially if he's the one being tease. For people he doesn't know Yami is really shy and is afraid of what people will think of him (this where lack of confidence plays in). Because he's afraid Yami will act like a big fat jerk to push people away. However if he's playing sports with people he doesnt know he is still competitive and temper can show if he loses. He's mostly worried about what people think of his intelligence and his artistic talent.
History:
Childhood:
Yami was born to Yaseiinu (King of the Demon Kingdom) and Hana (Queen of the Demon Kingdom). Yaseiinu and Hana had 5 children together. Four sons and one daughter. Yami's brothers are Duko, Kaze and Roko and sister is Ryoko. Roko, Yami and Ryoko are triplets (Roko was born first then Yami then Ryoko)! Growing up Yami's parents did not shelter him and his siblings at all. They went to a private grade school and went out in public. In fact the OoKami family goes in public on a regular basis. Yami was very sensitive when he was really young and he became really shy after an old noble person yelled at him during a royal event after accidentally bumping to him. His shyness caused him not to talk people and it grew worse when he entered grade school was bullied for being a good student and liking art. During this time Yami became quite close to his father and admire him for his strength as the king. Yami dreamed becoming a strong person like his father so he set his eyes on the throne(The first born child does not get the throne in Yami's family). His father was happy his son wanted to be king, but he was worried that his son's lack of social skills wouldn't make him a great king. So his father introduce him to a young human girl name Flora who is a daughter of the King of Chaos Kingdom. He thought that Yami could become friends with his ally's daughter. Sadly Yami saw Flora's talking as an annoyance and avoided her when he could. It wasn't until 5th grade Yami finally made a friend. He was being picked on one day after school and the new kid Jeremy stood up to the bullies. After Jeremy chased the bullies away, Yami and him became instant best friends.
Young Adulthood to Adulthood:
Once in high school Yami was starting to come out his shell more. He made new friends and much to his surprise Flora was attending school with him. Despite becoming Queen in her country Flora wanted to attend school for the first time in her life. She decided to go to Yami's country to school so she could get out and see the world! It took sometime, but Yami saw Flora had a good heart and became friends with her. The two over time became close friends and even to the point that they fight like siblings. Flora really helped Yami come over his social awkwardness and even helped him get a girlfriend! Yami's girlfriend, Kimiko is also a dog demon. Yami met her in the beginning of his freshmen year and the two got off on the wrong foot. She dismissed him as person because he was a prince and because of her mother she hated rich people. As the year went on Yami ended up getting a part time job at a cafe due to a punishment from his dad for spending too much money on video games. Kimiko was working there as well to ear spending money. One day Yami stood up for her when some guys were her harassing her. Since Yami was bullied as a kid he does not tolerate bullying or harassment at all. On their way back to school (the high they attend to his a boarding school.) Kimiko thank them and the two finally became friends. By the second half of the school year the two were starting to develop feelings for each other. Flora pushed Yami to make the first move which encourage him to act on his own. He even signed up for the cooking club to learn how to cook to impress her. He made her some cookies which were almost burnt, but they still tasted good! This sealed the deal and Kimiko knew for sure she liked Yami. She waited for him to ask her out and he eventually asked her out on one date. It wasn't until summer he asked her to be his girlfriend. The two stayed together throughout high school and they got really close to each other. Kimiko like Flora really helped Yami come out his shell and she is basically his world.
After high school, Yami decided not to go to college so he can focus on studying to become king. Kimiko ended up going to a college that was far away which put a strient* on their relationship. Kimiko really wanted Yami to purpose to her due to being unsure the future. She was going to college to become an English teacher and the thought being on her own after school worried her. She knew at least quitting school to marry him she would set off with life since he was the prince. However Yami he wasnt ready to marriage and he wanted Kimiko to get her degree and try to live in the real world. Despite not wanting her to be four hours away. That scared him and he was worried she would be annoyed if he visit or called to her often. Kimiko eased his doubts and said he would never annoyed her. Once Yami got over to the fear, he came to visit her often and saw she made knew friends. He got jealous of her guy friends and worried that one of them would take her away from him. So he became rude and snapping toward them which pissed off Kimiko. When she finally approached him about, she was hurt that he didn't trust her and they ended up fighting about it and broke up. After the fight, Yami dad's dad ended up going to the hospital due to the phenomena. During recovery his dad got an infection which ended up killing him. Yami became the hire to the throne and became king.
At first Yami didnt want to be king. He never made the connection that could he lose his dad to receive the throne. In the past his grandfathers retired from ruling due to the fact the demons age very slowly. He was nervous reck and had no time to grieve over his dad. He wanted to talk to Kimiko, but he knew he couldnt. So he turned to Flora and she helped him get through it. After a few months of being king, Max is adviser told Yami he needs to be either in a relationship or married by the age of 21. If not he would be arranged to be wed so he could produce hires. Yami was appled to the idea of marrying a strange so he want back out the dating world. He met a woman named Amaya at his cousin Mike's bar. He felt a connection to her at once and was able to ask her out with ease. They dated for awhile and when he told her wanted to improve himself she told him he would help him. Sadly she went over board and she was driving him crazy. At this point he was friends with Kimiko again after Flora pushed them to at least remain as friends. Flora really wanted them to get back together, but Yami had Amaya and Kimiko had a new boyfriend as well. Amaya attended the same school as Kimiko and one day while Yami was going to visit her, he spot Kimiko crying on a bench. He approached her and found out that her boyfriend broke up him because she didnt want to have sex. Yami was enraged (deep down he still had feelings for her) and told her that he wasn't worth crying over and she deserve someone who would understand her physical and emotional needs. This made Kimiko feel better and also she realized she still had feelings for him. A few months later Kimiko noticed Amaya was getting Yami's nerves. When she confronted him about it, she found out that Yami was still only with her because he didnt want to spend the rest of his life with a stranger. Kimiko told Yami he had a point, but he shouldnt make himself suffer. She said that he needed someone who understand his needs and emotions. Yami agreed with this and broke up with Ayama. As time went on Kimiko and Yami ended up back together and he told her he would purpose to her after she graduated from school. Three years later the two got married and are happy. Currently they are thinking about having a family.
Special Abilities:
Elemental Power: Fire, he uses a fire sword called Adian. It's a magic sword that can talk a human form to talk to Yami. He is the only person (past owners can still see him though) who can see or hear him.
Since he's a demon he has great strength and speed.
Additional Information:
Yami and Kimiko have 5 kids together. Yes I know I said in the history they're planning, but it would of made the history really long if I talked about their kids.
