This is something I've been wanting to do in fan fiction for a while but have never had a solid enough story idea to really carry out. Essentially, the story would be a continuation of Cardcaptor Sakura that slowly starts to incorperate some elements (and characters) from Tsubasa, while still taking place in the CCS universe/timeline (what have you) to sort of bridge the gap between the two series, taking place after the events of "The Sealed Card"

I get the feeling that we're just going to have to end up having me as Fai and you as Kurogane again in the end, but we'll give it some time....

And I would be perfectly fine with being either Fai or Kurogane, should the need arise, but I would probably make a better Fai than Kurogane, since I would naturally be an ice mage, should elemental magic actually exist. Ah, if only dreams were reality.... *stares longingly off into space*

Noooo..... you're still better as Kurogane like we had it before based on personality and the whole sword-wielding aspect.

Well, there is a reason I made Cedrinor a mage in his first incarnation. After all, I do practice magick. Albeit the Wicca variety, but that's besides the point.

Right, the point I'm making is that we're talking about two different people/characters with two different personalities and types of fantasy-based abilities, even if those abilities share a base in a very broad category.

Anyway.... as long as we just resume out roles fro before then we could potentially start.... and then if others want to join I would be open to relinquishing some of the Optional/NPC roles if there is a need or interest.So, Sakura and Syaoran would be our stable, permanent roles, but like Fai and Kurogane we could give up later on if need be. Sond good?

Yes, it looks good, and I sat down and thought about it for a little, and I realized that you are right about me being better suited to Kurogane. I mean, I am about the same skill level that he is with a sword, and we have very similar personalities.

As for Hope, it's powers are pretty much undefined/unknown and since there aren't any healing cards already I'm making it a healing card.

Well, I haven't had much experience with the Clow/Sakura cards, so whatever you say they do, I'm just going to roll with it. And it's alright, since it gave me a bit more to go on this time.

Okay, but I was actually working under the impression that we were starting completely over with thiss so Syaoran wouldn't have his own staff.... (yet   ) so stick with the sword for now.

Sorry, I thought it was a continuation of our previous one, and it was just a timeskip.

No, no, the timeskip is just for between the end of Cardcaptor Sakura-proper to bring them up to the age I presume them to be in Tsubasa, so the previous one was technically a timeskip, too. I just figured it would be best to start completely over for the sake of anyone who wants to join in.

Anyway, I'll post tomorrow, but for now I need to get to bed.

Alright. Night, Sailor-chan. And as for the time-skip to Tsubasa... I had always assumed Tsubasa was an alternate timeline, similar to this from the Legend of Zelda games.

Right, Tsubasa is like that, so this would be the "Cardcaptor" universe version of what happens in Tsubasa. I'm just bringing the characters up to their appropriate ages to reflect that.

Also: If you wanted to use text color, Syaoran's color would be green.

I'm just going to assume his magic has gotten stronger, enabling him to open portals from one country to another. After all, that is infinitely easier than what Yuko does, opening portals between separate dimensions.
