Appearance: Chari's brown hair hangs to about her mid-back, but she often has it tied back into a pony-tail so it doesn't get into her face while she works. She wears a pair of multifunction goggles of her own design to assist with her machinist work, they can often be found hanging around her neck when she's not using them. Her goggles can function in several different ways, a set of magnifiers for fine detail work, dark lenses for welding, and shatter-proof lenses for eye protection.
Her fingers are slender and strong, extremely skilled at doing detail work and she often uses her nails as tools along with the wide selection of picks, screwdrivers, jaks, and other tools usually found somewhere in her work belt or toolbox. She prefers to wear fingerless gloves to protect her palms but leave her fingers with full dexterity while she works.
Her normal outfit is a pair of cargo pants that has extra pockets and loops sewn into it for tools and materials. She prefers to wear a white tank top with leather-reinforced shoulders that carries mounts for magicite light crystals. She likes to wear reinforced steel-toed boots that have extra crush-resistance throughout the entire foot region. She often adds a tool belt to carry extra tools and while she works.
Personality: Chari is a very fun-loving girl who takes pride in her clockwork mechanical creations and loves to hear the whir and click of a well-functioning machine. She hates the war with an intense passion, in particular the Machine Cities for taking her greatest creation away from her. Although she has no love for the Machine Cities, she's incredibly patient and will put forth great effort to make friends with someone she knows she'll spend extended time with.
Background: Although Chari was born in the forests, she grew up in the Machine City capital, her natural talent with clockwork machines earning her a place in the Inventor's Lab. Her pyromancing allowed her far more flexibility than the average machinist, leaving her filling an unseen gap between machinist and mage.
Her own brilliance with machines was largely unmatched, but when she created a massive harvester to speed up harvesting crops, the machinists within the military took notice and confiscated the design for their own terrible ends. Chari protested the building of a weaponized version, but there was little she could do to stop them. The military, tired of her whining, threw her out on the street. Before she was thrown out, she unleashed as much of her fire magic as possible and demolished the hanger where The Juggernaut, the weaponized version of her large-scale harvester, was birthed and heavily damaged the Juggernaut itself.
Although she found work as a machinist, she hated the machine cities for taking her creation from her. She eventually crossed paths with Alucard while doing a job for him. She completed his request easily enough and left him with an impression he just couldn't shake, so he invited her to live with him away from the machine cities in a place untouched by the war. She agreed and began working for him.
