Physical Appearance: 
Standing around 5'9, he is a somewhat muscular man from his time on the ship, and he has sea foam green eyes and long black hair. He usually wears a pair of shin-high leather boots, out of one of which protrudes the hilt of a dagger, a pair of dark brown or black pants, and a white shirt. He usually has a fair amount of stubble around his jaw. He is always carrying around a light brown rucksack slung over one shoulder. He has a scar running down the left side of his face, starting from just above his eye and going down his cheek. This eye is white from blindness and has a deep gash through the center, showing that his eye took most of the damage from the wound.


Personality:
He is an all around calm man when sober, and he is very obedient when given orders. When he is drunk, he is very happy and cheerful. He is bitter about his past, and if you ask him about it, he will simply brush you off. Keep asking, and you are more than likely to end up with the point of a saber at your neck unless he is willing to tell you. He is a man of few possessions, carrying all he needs on his person at all times in a small rucksack or on his person. When asked, he can come up with a plan that is well thought out. He prefers to be in the Crow's Nest, keeping a look out for any ships or land.


History:
Abandoned at birth in a city and brought to the orphanage down by the docks, he grew up listening to the sounds of the ships groaning and creaking, the sailors cursing and yelling, and the dock hands working. When he turned 12, he was taken on as an apprentice to the captain of a ship called Neptune's Serpent. There, he was taught a wide range of skills, everything from how to rig and steer a ship to how to fight with a blade, be it sword or dagger, as well as training in knife throwing. When the time came for his apprenticeship to end on his 18th birthday, he left the Serpent in search of someone to mentor him in the arcane. During his travels in search of a teacher, he started to learn how to detect the creatures, and he started carrying a saber, as well as his daggers, for self defense after his first encounter, which resulted in him losing the sight in his left eye. Currently, he is wandering the docks, looking for work.


Additional Information: 
He is equally skilled in both the use of the saber and the dagger. He is somewhat adept at knife throwing, for which he carries several hidden daggers. Due to his training in the arcane, he is capable of creating a simple barrier using runes, as well as coating his saber in a thin aura of flame, making it usable as a torch as well as a weapon.
